Formerly a top fashion model at 5'10'' tall, Carey was popular with the top American designers, including Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Her father, a distinguished scientist who received the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists' 1979 Scientist of the Year prize, is a renowned geoscientist. Carey is a resident of throughout the world due to his profession. As she attended an institution called the University of Colorado at part-time when she was discovered to be the target of the Ford model Agency representative in New York.
