Dennings was in a romance with Nick Zano (co-star of "2 Broke Girls") between 2011 and 2014. After their breakup Dennings began dating the singer Josh Groban. They remained together until 2016. Dennings began to get acquainted with musician Andrew W.K. at the start of 2021. Within a brief time span after which they started to date and in May of 2020 announced their wedding. Dennings is a long-time fan of this musician. She's been following him since 2014. Dennings was raised Jewish but has said that religion is not a part of her daily day life. She is, for instance, fond of painting, reading, and even gardening. At one point in her life, she had intended to attend an art college, however the plans fell through when the entire portfolio of her was destroyed in flooding.
